The investment was carried out by means of a participative loan. The company will allocate these resources to strengthening its plans for expansion.

Capital Expansió fund of the Institut Català de Finances (ICF) has invested 1 million euros in the Institut Oftalmològic Tres Torres (IOTT), specialised in correcting sight problems and treating ocular pathologies, especially micro-surgery of cataracts and refractive surgery (correcting myopia, hypermetropia and astigmatism).
Capital Expansió carried out this investment by means of a participative loan so reinforce the plans for expansion and growth undertaken by the Catalan company.
The IOTT, based in Barcelona, will allocate these resources to opening new centres in other cities in Spain. It now has centres in Barcelona, Granollers, Mataró, Hospitalet de Llobregat and Sant Cugat.
Over the past eighteen months it has also opened a new centre in Madrid and another in Bilbao where it plans to replicate the model developed in Catalonia.
The company, created in 2000, plans to double its turnover over the next three years up to 12 million euros.
