The general director of the company Gestió i Serveis Trade Center, Albert Vilumara, joins as an independent spokesperson, and the current General Director of Economic Promotion, Competition and Regulation, Lluís Juncà, as a proprietary member.With these appointments, the highest governing body of the ICF consists of the president, the managing director, three proprietary members and six independent members.

The Government of the Generalitat has today appointed two new members to the ICF Board of Directors. Albert Vilumara Pérez, general director of the company Gestió i Serveis Trade Center (GIS), joins the board as an independent spokesperson; and Lluís Juncà Pujol, General Director of Economic Promotion, Competition and Regulation of the Department of the Vice Presidency and Economy and Finance, joins as a proprietary member.
The appointments were confirmed following a favourable report from the financial institution's Appointments and Remuneration Committee on their suitability, knowledge and experience, as mandated by European and state regulations governing credit institutions.
Following these two appointments, the most senior collegiate body of the ICF consists of the president, the managing director, three proprietary directors (representing the Generalitat of Catalonia) and six independent directors of recognised prestige for their professional careers.
Albert Vilumara Pérez
Vilumara holds a degree in Business Administration from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and a Master's Degree in General Management from IESE. He has also completed the ESADE Executive Development Programme and the London Business School Executive Mergers and Acquisitions Programme.
He is currently general director of the company Gestió i Serveis Trade Center (GIS), where he is developing and implementing a new strategic plan to promote new business opportunities and lead organisational changes. He is also an auditor on the Board of Auditors and member of the Official Account Auditors Registry (ROAC).
He also has extensive experience as an independent business advisor on strategic and financial matters for SMEs, start-ups and large companies.
Lluís Juncà Pujol
Juncà holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), a Master's Degree in Political Science from the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) and an MBA in Business Administration from ESADE. He is currently Director General of Economic Promotion, Competition and Regulation of the Department of the Vice Presidency and Economy and Finance.
He was previously director of the Office of the Vice President and Economy Minister of the Generalitat of Catalonia (2016-2017) and head of the Cabinet of the Leader of the Opposition in the Parliament of Catalonia. Between 2009 and 2012 he was an adviser to the European Parliament.
