Both financial institutions have accumulated a trajectory of two decades supporting the Puigvert Foundation in various financing projects.

BBVA and the ICF have signed, in equal parts, financing worth 4.8 million euros in favor of the Puigvert Foundation, a monographic hospital in urology, nephrology, andrology and reproductive medicine, to carry out improvement and remodeling works on the facilities and equipment of the Barcelona health center.
Both financial institutions have accumulated a trajectory of two decades supporting the Puigvert Foundation in various financing projects. Specifically, thanks to this collaboration, in 2011 the 12,000 m² Triangle Building was inaugurated, which was integrated and connected with the two pre-existing buildings, the old surgical pavilion and the Clinic building inaugurated in 1967. Overall, the current building of the Puigvert Foundation integrates three interconnected constructions with an area of 24,000 m².
The CEO of the ICF, Vanessa Servera, has highlighted "the sum between public promotion banks and private banking to make projects in the field of health a reality and that have a very clear impact on improving people's quality of life". In this sense, Servera also stressed that "the health sector has a lot of potential and capacity for innovation and at the ICF we want to be by your side to make projects that require long-term financing a reality".
In the words of Francisco Pla, BBVA's regional director in Catalonia, "supporting projects of a social nature is one of the bank's priorities. An example of this is the extensive activity we have in the hospital environment in Catalonia, as exemplified by the more than 20 years of relationship and support we have been with the Puigvert Foundation". Francisco Pla also stressed that "channeling financing to society is a priority for BBVA in its desire to be an active agent in the growth and economic development of companies, SMEs and individuals, as well as in the transition towards a more sustainable and inclusive world."
For his part, the Delegate Patron and General Director of the Puigvert Foundation, Mr. Ramon Massaguer, stressed that "health centers and, specifically, hospitals live in a permanent state of modernization and renovation of facilities and spaces in order to adapt them to the needs of the care processes as well as, to guarantee maximum safety and well-being to patients. In this sense," he adds, "it is essential to have the support and support of solvent financial institutions that accompany us and share our vision".
