The Catalan Institute of Finance (ICF) has granted a loan of 3.6 million euros to the Vicente Torns group for the construction of a new industrial facility attached to its industrial facilities in Vallès Occidental.
The new warehouse will house two new business lines dedicated to the recycling of large quantities of copper and aluminium bars generated in industrial processes. In addition, it will also serve as a warehouse and will have an area dedicated to offices.
With this operation, the ICF is promoting the reindustrialisation of the country in line with our mission as a public promotion bank of the Generalitat to fulfil the strategic objectives of Catalonia.
At the same time, we support a Catalan company with more than 100 years of experience and extensive knowledge of the sector that works to ensure responsible and sustainable management of industrial waste.
Founded in 1924, Vicente Torns, headquartered in Rubí, has three factories in France, two in India, one in Slovakia and is currently in the process of opening another in Morocco, while also promoting its industrial implementation in Italy. In addition, it has distribution centers in France, Slovakia, Italy and this year they are opening another in Poland.
As a result of its internationalization process, 85% of the group's industrial turnover comes from its sales abroad.
