The entity has increased by a factor of five the financing planned for subsidized housing in 2025 to 600 million euros, in compliance with the agreements of its Board of Governors. The Government authorizes, within the framework of the budget extension, the public promotion bank to increase the workforce with 29 additional positions to manage the increase in activity.

The ICF will expand staff to manage the largest social housing budget in its history. The public promotion bank will hire up to a maximum of 29 people in 2025 to manage the increase in activity planned for financing subsidized housing, which will increase fivefold compared to the previous year to reach 600 million euros.
Specifically, in compliance with the agreements reached by the Board of Governors, the ICF plans to make available to public and private developers 500 million euros in loans with advantageous conditions to build new social rental housing and to allocate 100 million euros to the public emancipation fund so that young people can afford to buy their first home.
For this reason, within the framework of the budget extension, the Govern today authorized the public development bank to increase its staff with 29 additional positions so that it can manage the increase in its activity and respond to requests for financing from developers of subsidized housing and young people who want to benefit from the public emancipation fund.
