Industrial and related services companies with operational headquarters in Catalonia and investment projects that have a positive impact on the production capacity and stimulus of the industrial sector are eligible for this loan facility.

What investments can be financed with ICF Indústria 4.0?

ICF Indústria 4.0 loans can be used to finance projects that drive the transformation, innovation and digitalisation of the industrial sector. Some of the investments which can be financed are listed below:

Industrial investment projects that increase production capacity, generate jobs and streamline the value chain.
Investment aimed at process digitalisation and information and communication technology (ICT) uptake.
Transformation of the automotive industry and other key sectors through the acquisition of tangible or intangible assets.
Research, development and innovation projects with staff, equipment and subcontracting costs directly tied to the performance of the project.
Energy efficiency improvements in production processes.

Condicions financeres

Up to 80% of the investment, starting at a minimum of €200,000 for SMEs and €800,000 for large companies.

Up to 10 years, including a grace period of up to 2 years.

12-month EURIBOR plus a spread from 2% to 2.95% depending on the project. Exceptionally, it may be a fixed interest rate of at least 2.75%. Approved transactions will get an interest rate subsidy of up to 2% from the Ministry of Business and Labour.

Arrangement fee of at most 0.50% of the loan amount, and in early repayment, at most 0.50% of the amount repaid.
