The Institut Català de Finances (ICF) has hired a sales agent forCentral Cataloniaas part of the Catalan public financial entity’s progressive, growth strategy to bring its financing offerings to all the companies and entrepreneurs in the region.
Based in Manresa –at the head office of ACCIÓ in the capital of Bages (c/ Alfons XII, 13)–, this new sales agent will work in conjunction with the business development team of the ICF to offer the entity’s financing to companies and entrepreneurs in Bages, Osona, Anoia, Berguedà, Solsonès and Cerdanya.
In 2015, the ICF financed 166 corporate projects via loans and guarantees in Central Catalonia for a global sum of 28 million euros.
ICF's presence in the region
With the engagement of this new sales agent, the ICF continues to strengthen its presence in the region. It currently has sales agents in the area of Barcelona, Girona, Tarragona and Terres de l’Ebre and in Central Catalonia. The entity’s business development department is also working to engage a new sales agent for theLeridaregion.
In addition to this network of sales agents, the ICF also has the support of a network of financial sponsors and Collaborating entities in the region who inform and advise companies regarding the entity’s financing solutions that best adapt to their needs.
The ICF provides long-term financing for the investment projects and working capital needs of companies, especially SMEs and also facilitates the diversification of their sources of financing.
