ICF finances Condensia Química with 1.6 million euros to increase its production capacity

Condensia Química has received a €1.6 million loan from the Catalan Institute of Finance (ICF) for the company's expansion and increase in production capacity. The company in the industrial and energy sector will acquire a new reactor and new machinery to increase the company's production capacity at its new headquarters in Polinyà. For the construction of this new warehouse, the company also had financing from the public promotion bank of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

The company currently manufactures and markets about 5,000 tons of chemicals, specialty additives for various industries, such as biodegradable plastics, industrial lubricants, elastomers, synthetic rubbers, cosmetics, paints and coatings, and medical devices, among others.

The total budget of the project is 2.8 million euros, of which the ICF has financed 57% and the rest has been made with the company's own resources. It is expected that with this investment, a minimum of 10 new workers will initially be incorporated.

Condensia Química was founded in Catalonia in 1975, that is, it has almost 50 years of history and has always worked from innovation and dedicating a significant part of its resources to R+D. In this way, it has been able to develop a series of additives of natural origin and biodegradable for the bioplastics market, which contribute to the circular and sustainable economy. This activity is one of the most important keys to the future for a company that exports 70% of its products outside Spain.
