The public promotional bank finances the construction of vehicle structural parts at the company’s plant in La Garriga
The ICF has provided 2.5 million euros in financing to Linde + Wiemann Spain, the German group based in La Garriga dedicated to the manufacturing of industrial vehicle components, to drive the work related to the global launch of the new 100% electric Mercedes-Benz van.
The group, specialized in the production of parts that form the structural components of vehicles, will manufacture the parts at its plant in La Garriga.
This collaboration reflects the company’s commitment to financing alternatives beyond traditional banking, enabling a more agile financial structure adapted to the industrial timeline of the program. The process with the ICF has been marked by its operational simplicity and a high degree of cooperation between teams.
“We wish to express our sincere gratitude to the ICF for its support. Its proximity and flexibility have been key to securing the financing for these projects and accompanying a strategic challenge such as the launch of the new electric van,” said José Carlos López Pérez, manager of Linde + Wiemann Espanya.
For her part, the CEO of the ICF, Vanessa Servera, stated that “this is an industrial project that combines innovation, sustainability, and growth — the kind we are proud to be part of and help make possible through the Generalitat’s public promotional bank.”
With this operation, Linde + Wiemann Espanya strengthens its commitment to electrification, industrial competitiveness, and collaboration with public financial partners to spur innovation across the automotive value chain.
