The activity data were made known during the Meeting for Sustainable Economic Growth that took place in Lleida and was opened by the Government representative, Montse Bergés, and where the CEO of the ICF, Vanessa Servera, made the presentation on public banking for the promotion of Catalonia. The day brought together more than 180 representatives of companies, entities and economic agents in the territory.

The Institut Català de Finances has financed, during the last three and a half years, 864 companies and entities in Lleida for a total amount of 153 million euros. The public financial entity has shared this data as part of the Meeting for Sustainable Economic Growth that took place at the Llotja Congress Center in Lleida this Thursday and that brought together more than 180 representatives of companies, entities and economic agents of the territory.
The inauguration of the day was carried out by the Government delegate in Lleida, Montse Bergés, who described the ICF as "a very important tool for the country and the Government to deploy the business strategy towards sustainable economic growth". According to the delegate, this role of accompanying and financing strategic projects has a "special relevance in the lands of Lleida, called to lead, with the firm support of the Government and through the shared agenda of the G10, the impetus of the pole d 'infrastructures and services for the development of the bioeconomy in Catalonia". The circular bioeconomy, said Bergés, is "an unstoppable path that presents itself to us in the form of an opportunity for the transformation of our economic model and the ICF is there to help companies and entities take advantage of it".
For her part, the CEO of the ICF, Vanessa Servera Planas, has presented the activity data of the entity in Lleida between 2020 and until August 2023 and has highlighted that "the ICF is in the alongside companies at important and key moments in their life cycle: re-industrialisation, sustainable transition, innovation, growth and internationalisation".
Servera has also stated that "we want to convey to the companies of Lleida and Segrià that if you have important projects from the ICF, we commit to doing our best to accompany you in their very long-term financing or in investment. We want to be - you helpful and agile."
In the same way, Servera has assured that "at the ICF we do not compete with private sector financing, but we have a public vocation to complement the offer and offer personalized advice that responds to the specific needs of each project".
