SeniorDomo celebrates its 5th anniversary with 5,000 families served in Spain, Italy and France and receives funding from the ICF

SeniorDomo has had a participatory loan of 200,000 euros from the ICF (Catalan Institute of Finance) through the IFEM Innovation line aimed at start-ups. The leading telecare start-up estimates reaching 6,000 families served in 2023, tripling its customer base this year.

SeniorDomo accelerates its growth and improves its technology thanks to the support of entities such as the Catalan Institute of Finance (ICF). The ICF has granted the company, through the IFEM Innovation line, a participatory loan of EUR 200,000 with the aim of financing both growth and new even more robust product versions. The IFEM line offers financing to start-ups in their initial phases, in conversion with private investors and that have a clear component of innovation and/or technology.

In 2023, the company is dedicating efforts to its innovation laboratory to launch two new products next year, as well as consolidate its growth in the markets where it currently provides its services in Spain, Italy and recently France.

SeniorDomo has closed new strategic agreements with services provided to public entities such as companies in the sector that allow to reaffirm its proposal of collaborative model of advanced telecare with families. SeniorDomo was recognized this 2023, as the digital initiative of the public administration with the highest score in the DigiCanvis Digital Observatory of the Generalitat de Catalunya through the AOC.

Currently, SeniorDomo offers its telecare services in Spain, Italy and France. It is distinguished by its innovative technology and a complete service capable of monitoring through a smart watch, the physical movement, vital signs and location of the people who wear it, allowing to detect situations such as sudden movements due to falls, unusual inactivity, anomalies in the pulse or loss due to disorientation in cases of Alzheimer's. One of the main innovations of its technology is the ability to make phone calls in less than 20 seconds to contact the first available family member, who can communicate with the user through the watch through hands-free.

It is expected to reach 6,000 families by the end of the year, tripling the user base by 2023. The Barcelona start-up also announces a change in its brand image with the renewal of its technological access, allowing families to improve their user experience and offering a new cover letter thanks to the improvements of its new website.

Hand in hand with this improvement plan, SeniorDomo, launches its new marketing campaign: Los Garcías. The family story exemplifies in a moving and authentic way the countless benefits that the device offered by the start-up brings to significantly improve the quality of life of older people and their families.
